Below, find everything you need to set your student up for success this school year. We can't wait to see you for our first day on Tuesday, September 1, 2026!

On August 14, 2026, Wiseburn USD sent out access to the Registration Packet to all families. Completing the packet ensures student records are up-to-date for the 2026-27 school year. Please check your email for your student's unique access code to PowerSchool Enrollment, and complete the packet by August 21.
Important Note: Be sure to fill out the Registration Packet, not the Enrollment Application. Have questions or didn't receive the packet? Drop us a line here.

Familiarize yourself with the policies and expectations within our student and family handbook.
To better serve our students, our block schedule days have changed, going into effect the 2026-27 school year. Instead of Monday being a 6-Block Day as it was in the past, Monday is now Periods 1, 3, and 5, and Friday is now our 6-Period Day.
We are also excited for the inclusion of a 30-minute Flex Time built into our regular day schedule! This flexible-use time at the end of the school day will provide opportunity for academic intervention, counseling groups, enrichment activities, homework support, and more.

WEDNESDAY
AUGUST 26, 2026
3:00pm - 4:30pm
Both 6th grade students and their parents/guardians attend. Parents/guardians learn more about what to expect, and students receive their class schedule, meet the principal and fellow classmates, and get ready for a great year as a new Dolphin!

MONDAY
AUGUST 31, 2026
4:30pm - 6:00pm
Stop by the evening before school starts to find out your child's teacher (for 7th and 8th graders; 6th graders find out at orientation) and practice walking to your classroom. Classrooms will not be open, but you can walk the campus.
For new-to-WUSD (transfer) students coming into 7th/8th grade: You are welcome to come to the front office at 4:00 p.m. for a special welcome to WMS!

THURSDAY
SEPTEMBER 10, 2026
5:00pm - 7:00pm
Visit with our teachers and staff, preview the year ahead, and consider joining the PTA meeting to get involved this year.

Students will receive detailed instructions from their team of teachers during the first week of school. We do encourage students to arrive with a backpack and something to write with (pencil and/or pen) and a notebook to write in. We also recommend bringing wired headphones (in a labeled Ziplock bag) to use with school-issued Chromebooks.

To encourage the continued practice of reading skills, Wiseburn Middle School requires all students to participate in our Summer Reading Program. While all students are required to read at least one assigned book over the summer, the Reading Olympics are designed to encourage students to challenge themselves and earn rewards and recognition for going above and beyond.
